Argenti PAN-X (APX100)
On the Outskirts of Astorga
Near AstorgaOn the outskirts of Astorga, we came across this old building, just as the brooding sky was about to open up and let the rain come down.
The resultant negative has a high degree of visual density and it looks like a good candidate for the enlarger. Developed for 5 minutes at a dilution of 1+30, 24ºC, rotary development.
Argenti PAN-X 100 Around the World: JAPAN
Argenti Pan-X 100 has a small but very cult following in Japan. Here we have a superb photo of a winding staircase which again shows great shadow detail.
Argenti PAN-X 100 (APX100) Around the World: SPAIN (2)
Here's a photographer from Málaga who also has some interesting work on Flickr. This is a fine example of this film's ability to handle extreme lighting situations. Note here the good shadow detail across the subject's face despite the very hard slanting sunlight. Bravo. Devlopment details unknown.
Argenti PAN-X 100 Around the World: SPAIN
Looking around Flickr, I came across this example of Argenti PAN-X 100 pushed to 800 ISO and an especially evocative shot pushed to 400 ISO. Both photos taken by Guillermo Pando of Avilés.
